We were going on a long road trip and I heard a rattle under our car I brought it in to the dealership and they diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts the service rep kept us informed the entire time and when the work was completed we went on our trip. I was extremely disappointed with my service appointment. I question Anthony about the two charges for labor and he became extremely combative, loud and argumentative. I did speak with Christian in sales and he was kind enough to listen to my complaint and did point me in the directly to call the service manager on monday. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to do that. I will most likely never return to service my gmc vehicle nor lease another vehicle with gmc freehold again.

Made my appointment at least 1.5 weeks earlier to get my tires replaced for the Oct. 1st special. After sitting there for an hour, Carmen came out and apologized, they could not find my tires anywhere, but they would give me a loaner and I would have to come back the next day. I then asked to switch to my regular rep, Chris who asked me if Carmen had apologized. I told him what Carmen had said and he said no, Carmen never ordered the tires. By the time I received the loaner car I had wasted 1.5 hours at the dealership. And I then had to disrupt the next day to go back and get my car. My husband keeps trying to get my to buy a BMW or Mercedes. This might be my last Buick. Then when I went to pay my bill, I noticed a $40 misc. charge on my bill. They could not explain it to me. Check your bills people, as this is just a way for them to add fees unnecessarily. Will no longer pay this fee going forward.

Carmen got the car in early for routine maintenance and informed me in quick order regarding some additional cleaning which would keep the engine working as well as it is. I appreciate that kind of concern and the effort he made to get my GM points from the corporate headquarters was time consuming but ultimately completed with a nice savings on my bill. Even more so, he had me come back to the shop to inspect my vehicle to discuss potential reasons for my noise, and with the help of one of his mechanics, together we isolated the issue and were able to determine the replacement parts. Getting the customer personally involved is a great idea and helps the customer better understand their vehicle and perhaps learn a few things along the way. Making amicable decisions and not surprising the customer is great customer service. And to date, I can say I have always had an excellent experience, from sale to service, never had any feeling of pressure or concern. They care more about the customer and not always the bottom line. Thats what will keep me coming back

This was my first time buying a new car. I test drove a used Buick Envision, loved it, and decided that I wanted a new one. Unfortunately the nearest Buick dealer is more than an hour away. And a Buick dealer with the Envision with the specs that I wanted that I wanted was even further away. So I chose the Freehold NJ location because my brother had a good experience there. I drove nearly 4 hours to get there and was met with kindness and exceptional service and professionalism. I had spoken with Gary (the salesman) by phone prior to my visit and he had all the paperwork waiting for me. Christian (the manager) was also ready to complete the sale without difficulty. This sale was a legacy employee sale - my father worked for 40 years as an assembler at the Linden NJ plant. Although he’s not around to see my beautiful red Buick, my new Envision is a tribute to him. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership and will definitely drive the 400 mile round trip for my next car! I also LOVE my new Buick.

Feel like I got robbed, pressured into getting new front and rear brakes- message on dash read service rear brake monitor. Front brakes had 66% of life remaining yet I was told I needed new brakes. I realize I should have gotten a second opinion but tried to correct the problem on my day off of work. I have a photo of front brakes saying 66% life remaining if anyone actually cares and reads this. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealer yet I walked out of there feeling terrible. Last dollar I will ever worn there.

Excellent communication Labor rates are too high

Chris Montenegro in service was excellent. He listened to my concerns and was knowledgeable of the issues that I had raised. Was suprised with the time it took to complete everything. I was expecting a few hours and turned out I was in and out within an hour. I don't live local and have 2 dealers that are much closer, but make the trip to buy and service at Freehold, and will continue to do so. From Sales to Service Freehold Buick/GMC is by far the best of the best. If you use another dealer in Monmouth or Ocean County, make your next service appointment here and you will understand the difference.

Anthony Squeo called me to let me know I needed a new transmission would cost almost $8000. I told him I needed to speak to my husband about it and without getting anything in writing he wanted me to make a decision right there on the spot over the phone. Then when I decided to pick up my truck and bring it home. I was told that he performed an oil change which I did not request.

I brought my car in for a known issue with this car and was told it was only my battery. Battery was changed without my consent and I was charged over $450. When I approached the service technician his response was he could take out the battery. I've dealt with this service department for many years and was very disappointed in the way this was handled. Given the choice I would not have opted to purchase a new battery as I would have gotten it myself and changed it. Very disappointed and will not return for service.

It was almost time for tires so when you were offering buy 3 and get one free I decided it was time to bite the bullet. I had noticed a little vibration on the first few minutes of driving so they indicated that the trans-axcles needed serving. Behold there is no longer a vibration. Service took over 2 hours, way too long to be waiting for an oil change and tire rotation. Also, the cost for this service has doubled from 2020. I paid $58.59 in December 2020 and now it cost me $121. Time for me to consider bringing my vehicle to a neighborhood mechanic or local Pep Boys.

Let me start by saying my second service manager Anthony Squeo was a pleasure to work with. However, my issue shouldn’t have lingered the way it did for a simple issue and repair. The 3rd week of April I brought my car here stating that my FM radio stations were not working after going through a car wash. Upon examination Carmen my original service manager told me it was a GM “over the air” software update that affected my reception and that another “OTA” update scheduled for April 29th should fix it. It didn’t. I then immediately brought my truck back to inform the dealership that the April 29th ota update didn’t work. Further diagnosing resulted in Carmen telling me that the OTA on the 29th “fried” my FM stations and I needed a new radio and that one was ordered. Several weeks passed and when I followed up with Carmen he told me the radio was scheduled to ship that day and he’d call me back at 4pm before leaving for his trip to Italy. He never called. I waited until the following week and called in again to inquire about the status of the new radio. I explained my concerns to Anthony Squeo who indicated that “I’d be working with him from now on. He also informed me that the radio Carmen said was shipping the week prior did not ship and that the new one was scheduled to ship the following day. The radio came in a few days later and Anthony scheduled me to come in. The installed the new radio and yet the fm stations still were inoperable. This resulted in the ordering of another new radio being ordered and installed again only for fm stations to be inoperable. Software updates and server issues continued to be blamed by the dealership for fm radio not working. This time Anthony held onto my car for a few more days to continue troubleshooting the issue. By this time two full months passed with failed attempts to correctly diagnose and repair the issue. Inconvenience isn’t even the correct word to describe the discontent felt for this dealerships lack of incompetence, knowledge, experience, and inconsideration to accurately diagnose the issue which resulted in a bad high frequency antenna shorted out from water intrusion. Which makes me wonder if they checked it to begin with because I asked them the day before they found it as the problem if they checked it. The following day they checked the antenna and found that to be the problem. Completely ridiculous… Tgat should’ve been checked first considering the issue was not receiving fm radio stations on a simple frequency of over the air distribution. My cousin who’s a master technician for Jeep said it was the antenna without even looking at the truck…. Complete lack of incompetence, laziness, inconsideration, and empathy to say the least. If this is how this dealer is with simple repairs it’ll be a long cold hard day in hell before I consider buying a car from them. They should be compensating me for my inconvenience, aggravation, and the run around I got.

My service coordinator Chris got me in and out quickly. He also honored a prior free oil service for a prior issue. Only negative experience I had was booking the appointment. They just started using an AI assistant. I left two messages (as the AI assistant booked the wrong date for me) and no one returned my phone call, which necessitated me driving over to speak to an actual human being.

Needed a new truck, I got the best truck for the right price. No crazy pressure to buy. very smooth process, got the new truck next day and already on the job, carful not to get a scratch or dent ( it will happen) just not today.

We had a pleasant experience. Everyone was very nice. We were out of there in a reasonable amount of time.

I got a blowout and called them to find out about a replacement tire. They immediately ordered me a new tire, had it in the next day and on the car and even fit me in for an oil change as well. These guys always take great care of my family and I appreciate each and every one of them.
